Seesaw – Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

When you use the app, we may collect:

• Your name (optional or from Apple login)
• Your Apple ID email (private relay email if chosen)
• A unique user identifier

We do not collect your Apple password. Apple handles authentication.

1.2 Content You Provide

To generate emotional maps, game results, and insights, we collect:

• Your answers to questions
• The answers submitted by someone you invite
• Results generated by our AI models

This information is used only to provide the core app experience.

1.3 Usage Data

To improve Seesaw, we may collect:

• Basic app analytics (screens visited, features used, session length)
• Device type, OS version, crash logs

We do not track your location or behavior outside the app.

1.4 Cookies & Tracking

Seesaw does not use cookies or third-party tracking tools.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

• Generate your Inner Map
• Create your “Your Version of Me” report
• Power Between Us conversational games
• Provide AI-based insights
• Improve app performance and reliability
• Prevent abuse or misuse

We never sell your data.

We never show ads inside Seesaw.

Your data is used only to support your experience.

3. How We Store & Protect Your Data

We use industry-standard security practices, including:

• Encrypted HTTPS communication
• Token-based authentication
• Secure cloud storage
• Access controlled by our engineering team only

We do not store Apple login credentials.

If you delete your account, your answers and reports are permanently deleted from our servers.

4. How Sharing Works

When you share a link with someone (“clone creator” or partner):

• They can answer questions about you
• Their answers and your answers are used to generate the final report
• They can only see what the experience requires (no hidden data)

You always control who has your link.

5. AI Usage

Seesaw uses AI models to:

• Interpret your answers
• Compare perspectives
• Generate emotional insights and summaries
• Create report cards

Your data is processed securely, and we do not use your information to train public AI models.

6. Third-Party Services

We use trusted providers such as:

• Apple (Sign in with Apple)
• Google (Sign in with Google, and Google Photos when you choose it)
• Supabase (secure backend & storage)
• Mixpanel (anonymous analytics)

These services have their own privacy policies.

7. Google Photos

If you choose to add photos from Google Photos, Seesaw opens Google’s own photo picker. Seesaw only receives the photos you pick there. It cannot see or browse the rest of your Google Photos library.

• We use the photos you pick only to make the film or moment you are creating, and to show it to the people you share it with.
• Picked photos are prepared on your phone and uploaded to Seesaw only as part of that film or moment. The copy on your phone is deleted once it is uploaded, or after a week if you never finish.
• Your Google sign-in for Google Photos stays on your phone. It is not sent to our servers, and it is removed when you sign out of Seesaw.
• We do not sell Google user data, use it for ads, or use it to train AI models.
• You can remove Seesaw’s access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Seesaw’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

8. Children’s Privacy

Seesaw is intended for users 18+.

We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Your Rights

You can:

• Request a copy of your data
• Ask us to delete your account
• Withdraw consent anytime
